WHEATON, IL, Jan. 6, 2011 -- RJN Group Inc. (RJN) is currently performing an Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) Investigation of the 14th District West Central Sanitary Sewer in the City of Davenport, Iowa. The City had previously conducted a two part I&I investigation of the western portion of the 14th District Sewer Basin and a large part of the recommended actions to reduce the system I&I have been completed.

RJN will provide additional I&I study of the Basin in the central portion in both the public sector (trunk surcharges, sewer mains, and manholes) and the private sector (laterals, sump pumps, downspouts, and foundation drains). The goal of this study is to successfully integrate the structural condition assessment and hydraulic performance analysis of the system to develop cost-effective recommendations that will maximize the available capacity of the City of Davenport sanitary sewer collection system.
