TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, AUG 22, 2017 -- A north Texas utility district has received over 30 citations for violation of state wastewater law, and may lose its operating permit.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the violations, including improper disharge of wastewater occurred over a six-year period.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says the district was fined $75,000 for the violations. District officials say they has already addressed the problems, but an administrative hearing next month will determine if the Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 can renew its permit to handle wastewater.
