ENGLEWOOD, CO, & TORONTO, Canada, March 10, 2005 -- The city of Englewood, Colo., has successfully completed implementation of CIS Infinity®, the customer information and billing solution offered by Advanced Utility Systems Corp. Just south of Denver, the city provides water, sewer, basin interceptors, storm water and concrete billing to approximately 79,000 customers.

"Our previous system was becoming obsolete. We needed a new system that would allow us to more efficiently serve our community, and enhance our services," explains Don Ingle, the city information technology director. "Advanced has provided a versatile system that will carry Englewood Utilities successfully into the future."

Englewood is taking advantage of CIS Infinity's interface with its central payment processing solution, and with Oracle Financials. The city runs CIS Infinity with an Oracle database on Sun Solaris servers.

Patricia Sorbara, Advanced president and CEO, describes some of the advantages that come with choosing CIS Infinity. "Englewood is a good fit for Advanced because the city needed a highly configurable solution, and because our implementation strategy has a proven track record. The program is easy to learn and, most importantly, reliable."

The implementation in Englewood was the first for Advanced in the state of Colorado, expanding their presence throughout the western United States.

Advanced Utility Systems Corporation is a privately owned and operated software and services company in Toronto, Canada. The company has grown from its 1997 start-up to serve more than 60 North American water, electric, and natural gas utilities with its billing and customer information solution, CIS Infinity.
