Yorkshire Water, the ninth largest water utility in the world, recently won Utility Company of the Year for 2004 at the recent Industry Achievement Awards. Yorkshire Water beat stiff competition from some of the biggest names in the water, gas, electricity and telecommunications industries to claim the award. Work group queue managers have visibility into the field operations, and order status information can be relayed to call takers who in turn can provide up-to-the-minute information to customers.
