AWWA peer-reviewed Journal articles now available online at no pubic cost

Today, the American Water Works Association announced that peer-reviewed articles in the organization's Journal are now available at no cost to view online and download.

DENVER, CO, Jan. 15, 2015 -- Today, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced that peer-reviewed articles in the organization's Journal are now available at no cost to view online and download.

While many scholarly publications in recent years have adopted an open-access model for their articles, AWWA's Journal is the first publication in the water industry to transition to this model.

The report, published continuously since 1914, is AWWA's flagship publication and includes both professional and scholarly content, publishing both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed articles.

As part of Journal AWWA's transition to an open-access model for the publication, all peer-reviewed articles published after Jan. 1, 2015 will be available to the public to view and download. Also, there are no charges to authors as part of this new publication policy.

Twenty-five years of back issues of Journal AWWA will be publicly available at no charge later this year. Authors interested in submitting articles to the publication may do so by visiting the publication's webpage.
