Executive Vice President, CFO appointed to UV Systems Technology Inc.

Service Systems International Ltd. has announced a key addition to its management team, Lloyd E. Kearl.

VANCOUVER, B.C., Feb. 22, 2001 — Service Systems International Ltd. (OTCBB: SVSY) - has announced a key addition to its management team, Lloyd E. Kearl.

Kearl has joined the Service Systems (SSI) management team as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer; of its wholly owned subsidiary, UV Systems Technology Inc.

Kearl's credentials include a CPA from Oregon, an MBA from Brigham Young University, and a Law degree from the University of Alberta. His extensive experience in managing growth includes, most recently as CFO with eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc., a TSE listed public company engaged in mobile workforce management, and (from 1986 to June, 2000) Group Vice President, Finance (CFO) with Dynapro Systems Inc.

While at Dynapro, software, hardware and touch-screen sales increased to about $100 million (Cdn.) prior to selling various divisions to Rockwell Automation and 3M. Additional past experience include positions as Auditor with Arthur Young & Co., in Portland, Oregon; Director of Finance with ISC Systems Corp., a NASDAQ listed company where sales grew from $50 million to $150 million in three years; and Asst. Treasurer of The Bunker Hill Co., a mining and smelting company with over 2000 employees.
