Stanford University conducting regional water management collaboration study
Stanford is seeking water agency participation to identify factors in interagency collaboration.
STANFORD, CA, APRIL 26, 2017 -- The Bill Lane Center for the American West at Stanford University is conducting a research study on Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) and asking California water agencies to participate in an online survey aimed identifying factors that affect the experiences and outcomes of the collaborative process.
According to the Bill Lane Center, the survey takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. Responses will be kept confidential and anonymous, unless respondents volunteer to identify themselves for a follow-up interview. For publication purposes, responses will be aggregated and the center will not publicly release survey results at the IRWM level.
Results from the survey will help inform other collaborative processes in the state, including those related to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
