Alexandria, Va., Feb. 4, 2003 -- The Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA) will team up for the ninth time to present the 2003 Joint Management Conference scheduled to take place at The Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas, TX, February 9-12, 2003.
This year's conference will focus around the theme "Facing the Future: Strategies for Change."
Water and wastewater utilities have had to face a future that has been dramatically impacted by the events of the past year. From security to reduced revenues, this conference will tackle such issues and give attendees a firm grasp on how to strategize for change.
Joint Management 2003 offers a number of workshops, presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking with key utility decision-makers on strategic planning, innovative security technologies, optimizing utility resources, asset management, and professional recruitment practices.
