Wooster Products offers AlumoGrit abrasive cast aluminum structural treads, platforms and thresholds designed to improve pedestrian safety in water and wastewater treatment facilities and other corrosive environments. Abrasive grit is integrally cast into the aluminum surface to provide long-lasting slip resistance for indoor or outdoor installations in new construction or retrofit applications.

The products are available in widths of 3 in, 4 in and 6 in (76 mm, 102 mm and 152 mm) with lengths up to 8.5 ft (2.6 m) and feature cleanly defined cross-hatching and fluting. Each section is shot blasted prior to shipment and supplied with concealed anchors for a finished appearance. Optional high-visibility contrasting strips with anti-slip properties help highlight step edges in low-light or high-traffic areas while maintaining a high coefficient of friction.

Designed for durability, AlumoGrit treads provide extended service life in facilities exposed to moisture, chemicals and heavy foot traffic, supporting safer access in wastewater treatment and industrial environments.
