Rotork has launched the RTP-4000 range of intelligent valve positioners developed to provide optimized control for single and double-acting actuators on rotary and linear valves. The first model in the series, the dual-certified RTP-4400, is designed for high-performance applications in oil and gas and other process industries where precise, reliable valve control is critical.

The RTP-4000 incorporates magnet-based contactless position feedback to eliminate mechanical wear and support long-term actuator reliability. Integrated pressure sensor diagnostics deliver real-time device status and predictive maintenance insights, while a clear, user-focused dashboard provides at-a-glance visibility into valve performance. High pneumatic capacity supports rapid valve response, and optimized air consumption contributes to improved operating efficiency.

Engineered for harsh environments, the unit features corrosion-resistant construction with copper-free aluminum housing and resin-potted electronics, along with an optional configuration rated to minus 55 degrees Celsius. The positioner integrates with major control and asset management systems and is certified for use in explosionproof and intrinsically safe areas, supporting flexible deployment across demanding industrial facilities.
