It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mary Bryant Layton. PWQA has lost a true Pioneer of the Water Improvement Industry in California.
Mary was a founding Member of PWQA with her husband, Glenn M Layton, who served as President in 1966 to 67. Her sons Michael and Chris both served as presidents of PWQA in 1977 to 78 and 1988 to89 respectively. Her Grand-daughter, Kristi Pihl, served as the Executive Director of PWQA for many years.
Mary was the wife, mother and grandmother of 4 Hall of Fame Members of PWQA, Glenn M. Layton, Michael B. Layton, Chris Layton and Kristi Pihl.
A funeral mass was held at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach on Feb. 14th, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Joseph Hospital Orange Foundation, 1010 West LaVeta Ave. Orange, California, 92868.
