They say the only constant is change. As the world and the industry change around us, it’s important that we stay up to date — and that means some big changes here at WQP.

With the November issue, we are debuting not only a brand new look, but a new size too. We hope you enjoy this convenient format and updated design, but never fear—we will continue to offer the same quality content you have come to expect from WQP in the past almost-20 years.

In addition to the feature articles, news updates and product highlights you have come to know and love, WQP will be introducing some new sections in 2015. First is the Dealer of the Month, a monthly article profiling a successful dealership. Already an online favorite, we will feature the Dealer of the Month article in each print issue beginning in January.

January also will see the introduction of a revamped certification column. A rotating cast of authors from key certification bodies, including the Water Quality Assn., UL and NSF Intl., will cover the latest tips and updates on certification standards, testing and more.

Finally, you’ll note that this issue includes Product Portfolios (page 30). Introduced in our Buyer’s Guide in August, this section provides in-depth information on companies’ products and services. Starting in 2015, we will feature Product Portfolios in the January, August and November issues.

With all of these exciting changes, we can’t forget another exciting event happening in 2015: WQP’s 20th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, we are planning a special anniversary edition of the magazine, to be published next spring. This issue will reflect on WQP’s past 20 years, but more importantly will look back at the rich history of the water quality industry.

To that end, WQP will honor Industry Icons — water professionals whose actions and efforts have positively affected and influenced the industry, whether in the realms of manufacturing or dealerships, legislation or associations, and more. We are currently accepting nominations, and would like to invite you to nominate any water professional, living or deceased, who you believe deserves recognition. Our easy-to-use online nomination form is available at www.wqpmag.com/industry-icons-nomination-form.

This anniversary edition also will feature dealerships with their own rich histories. If your family has been in the water industry for three or more generations, tell us your story via our online form at www.wqpmag.com/generations-water-quality-nomination-form.

Both nomination forms will be open through Dec. 1. We encourage everyone to participate and look forward to receiving your nominations!
