The water treatment world is getting ready to gather in Indianapolis for WQA Aquatech USA 2013. Focused on the point-of-use/point-of-entry industry for the residential, commercial and industrial markets, the tradeshow is scheduled for April 2 to 5 at the Indianapolis Convention Center.

The exhibition portion of the event will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 3, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 4. It will feature hundreds of exhibitors offering new technologies and solutions, as well as education sessions right on the tradeshow floor.

Education sessions, offered through all four days of the event, will follow seven tracks: commercial water treatment, drinking water, emerging/regulatory issues, fundamentals, industrial applications, residential and Water Quality Assn. (WQA) business training. There will be traditional education sessions and lectures, plus panel discussions and hands-on training.

The event also will offer two educational field trips on Tuesday, April 2. The first, at the Indianapolis Zoo, will focus on the water treatment requirements for the zoo’s wildlife, including a walking tour of the exhibits and lunch. The second, a tour of Sun King Brewery, will provide education on the water quality needs of the microbrewery, capped off by a beer sampling. Both field trips require an additional registration fee.

Other features include networking events, including the new Welcome Reception to be held at the NCAA Hall of Champions, certification exams and WQA section meetings.

Be sure to stop by the Water Quality Products booth (#1015) to meet the editorial staff and pick up a copy of the magazine. We look forward to seeing you there!
