U.S. Water Prize accepting 2023 nominations

The U.S. Water Alliance has announced that nominations are now open for its 2023 U.S. Water Prize.

The U.S. Water Prize recognizes achievements in sustainable, integrated, and inclusive solutions to water challenges each year.

For 2023, the U.S. Water Prize is accepting nominations under eight categories. Four for organizations, and four for individuals.

Organizations:

• Outstanding Public Sector
• Outstanding Private Sector
• Outstanding Nonprofit
• Outstanding Cross-Sector Partnership or Coalition

Individuals:

• Outstanding One Water Communication
• Outstanding Public Official
• Outstanding Rising One Water Leader
• Outstanding Artist ​​​​

The alliance says that the deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 31 at 8:00 pm ET, and that the winners will be chosen by an independent review panel of water experts.

The U.S. Water Alliance will announce the winners of the program during its One Water Summit, Nov. 14-16 in Tucson, Arizona.
