AD26L is a media of ceramic sand with a coating resulting in 15% to 20% manganese dioxide content by weight. It can handle the toughest water quality at elevated filtration rates, as well as help reduce initial backwash waste during startup. With the higher filtration rate capability of catalytic media like AD26L, the total surface area of a system’s filter bed is reduced, which in turn shrinks the footprint of the filtration system itself.
