Mesa Water District enters five-year engagement with T2 Tech Group.

LOS ANGELES, CA, MARCH 11, 2020 -- T2 Tech Group, an industry leader in delivering information technology consulting and advisory services has extended its partnership with Mesa Water District (Mesa Water®) for a new five-year IT operations management engagement. Mesa Water, which provides high-quality water to businesses and 110,000 Orange County residents and unincorporated areas, is an award-winning agency that is committed to the highest standards of customer service, efficiency, financial leadership, and transparency.

“Mesa Water’s top priority is to protect the health of its customers by providing 100% safe, local and reliable water to the communities we serve,” said Paul E. Shoenberger, P.E., Mesa Water General Manager. “Our previous work with T2 Tech Group proved that they are the right partner to continue collaborating with our team to support this mission.”

In 2015, T2 Tech helped Mesa Water  transform its IT infrastructure environment and improve the performance of IT related services to  staff and customers, using industry best practices. A critical success factor of this transformation included the development and implementation of a new metrics-based IT operations and management model that provided senior management with actionable visibility, improved efficiency and contained expenses.

As part of the continued partnership, T2 Tech will provide ongoing day-to-day support and management for Mesa Water’s IT program. This includes IT capital improvement projects that will, over the next five years, continue to improve the security and capabilities of Mesa Water’s operations, financial, and customer services IT systems. One of the key initiatives is to collaborate with the operations group at Mesa Water to continue maintaining the process that aligns IT operational management with the requirements of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system – the District’s water monitoring management system – which is essential in providing a reliable and safe water supply to its customers.

“We are very proud of the results we’ve delivered for Mesa Water throughout our history together and we’re looking forward to continuing as a trusted managed services partner for at least the next five years,” said Robert Konishi, co-founder and managing partner of T2 Tech. “Mesa Water has provided invaluable input that has enabled T2 Tech to evolve our approach and methodology to better serve our diverse client base.”
