Hancock Concrete acquires Hanson Pipe & Precast plant

HANCOCK, MN, June 5, 2011 -- Hancock Concrete Products, makers of precast concrete pipe, box culverts, manhole structures, and retaining walls, has acquired the Hanson Pipe & Precast plant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The company said the additional facility will help restore production capacity after a fire at its Lake View, Iowa, plant.

From the Sioux Falls plant, Hanson has built high standards for supplying quality concrete products for its customers in the Midwest. Hancock Concrete is excited to work with the plant's employees to expand on the positive accomplishments.
