Dec. 2, 2010 -- Grant money from the Long Island Sound Futures Fund and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will help Queensborough Community College (Bayside, NY) study stormwater runoff on campus.

The six- to eight-month project is aimed at minimizing the volume of excess water and pollutants entering the local watershed from the college's parking lots. The study is expected to begin in early 2011.
