Plastic pipe maker to open new manufacturing plant

• New plant will enable ADS to meet increased demand in agricultural, construction markets

HILLIARD, OH, Nov. 24, 2010 -- Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (ADS), the world's largest manufacturer of corrugated plastic pipe, is announcing that it is opening a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Buxton, North Dakota to better serve customers throughout the entire region. The new Plant will be fully operational by spring.

"We're seeing enormous demand for HDPE pipe throughout the region, and we want to ensure that our customers continue to receive the very best in customer service," said Joe Chlapaty, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ADS. "By manufacturing pipe as close to our customers as possible, it will significantly reduce the time and cost of delivery. This additional production and shipping capacity will serve our growing customer base well," stated Chlapaty.

In addition, this new plant location is well situated to service western Ontario, Manitoba and eastern Saskatchewan. ADS chose the Buxton area for its strategic geographic location, excellent interstate access, and a very skilled and dedicated labor pool.
