Safeguard business units awarded contracts for TRWD
DALLAS, May 14, 2007 -- Safeguard Security Holdings Inc. (Pink Sheets:SSHS), a provider of corporate and industrial security systems and personnel, announces that its subsidiaries, Acquient Security Consulting Inc. and SYSTEMSgroup Inc., have been awarded contracts for the design and installation of a massive 23-site integrated security management system for the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD).
The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) provides raw water resources to more than 30 customers in the North Central Texas area, including the cities of Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, and the Trinity River Authority of Texas. The project design includes a state-of-the-art, networked video, access control and communications management system, employing the latest IP, wireless communication and networking equipment.
"The project will provide TRWD with an integrated, high-end, intelligent security management system, operating on a single unified and network-based platform," said Mike Webster, CPP, co-president of Acquient Security Consulting Inc. "This integrated security system will enhance TRWD's overall security program to a level that will place it as a security flagship among the water utility industry."
