BROOKFIELD, CT, May 9, 2007 -- CULTEC Inc., a manufacturer of plastic chambers used in subsurface retention/detention stormwater management systems and septic applications, announces it newest manufacturers' representative, Marsh & Moore Inc.

Marsh & Moore Inc., based in St. Augustine, Florida, is a manufacturers' representative of products for the irrigation, underground, onsite and plumbing industries. As a new CULTEC representative, they will help promote the company's Contactor® and Recharger® stormwater systems throughout the states of Florida and Georgia.

CULTEC chambers are designed for use in underground stormwater retention/detention fields or septic leachfields. The units are dome-shaped, and incorporate fully opened bottoms and perforated sidewalls for maximum infiltration. Each chamber stores water within the dome void until it can be infiltrated into the ground. For contractors and developers, the chambers are a practical alternative to heavy, concrete structures or large diameter pipe. CULTEC chambers are lightweight and can be installed easily by just one or two workers. The units' polyethylene construction provides long life and durability.

Marsh & Moore was founded in 1972 by Mark Marsh and David Moore and in the early 1990s a third principal, Richard Bohl, joined the company. Unlike other manufacturers' representatives, Marsh & Moore has taken the approach of branching off into separate divisions including irrigation, underground, onsite and plumbing. The company's ultimate goal is convenience, both for the manufacturers they represent and the wholesalers they service. This is accomplished by providing a cohesive, single-source management system of multiple product lines.

CULTEC Inc., headquartered in Brookfield, Connecticut, is a national manufacturer of plastic chambers used in subsurface retention/detention stormwater management systems and septic applications. In addition, CULTEC has designed its own manifold and water quality systems to complement its product line. CULTEC currently offers the largest variety of sizes and types of products than any other chamber manufacturer. The company's Recharger and Contactor chambers are used extensively in Clean Water Act applications, and utilize high-density polyethylene material, a patented interlocking rib connection and fully-formed endwall to achieve long life and durability.
