Biological odor control

The IMS I-BOx® Series odor control system from Integrity Municipal Systems is an advanced two-stage biological system that provides point source odor control. The first stage is a biological reactor where bacteria are used to oxidize hydrogen sulfide (H2S), removing 99% of H2S and organic sulfur compounds. The second stage uses activated carbon to remove residual H2S and organic odors. Standard models are available to treat up to 5,000 cfm (8500 m3/h) of odorous air.

Natural odor control

Ecosorb® products use natural ingredients to eliminate industrial smells without the need for harsh chemicals or masking fragrances. When diluted with water and broadcast via atomization, the tiny water droplets created contain a thin oil skin that creates an electrostatic charge. This charge facilitates adsorption of the malodor molecules onto the droplet surface. The gas is absorbed by the droplet (solubility) and held. Available in a variety of formulas, including atomization, spray gel, vaporization, and additive.

Polyaspartic coatings

PPG's KWIKSPAR® 600 and Kwikspar 600 SG polyaspartic coatings are a line of corrosion-resistant, direct-to-­metal (DTM) coatings formulated with advanced film-build and fast-cure characteristics to improve throughput in field and shop applications. In highly corrosive environments, Kwikspar 600 (full-gloss) and Kwikspar 600 SG (semi-gloss) coatings can be overcoated on AMERCOAT® 370 or SIGMAFAST® 278 epoxy primers to provide an ultra-fast-drying alternative to traditional three-coat corrosion protection systems. In low-to-moderately corrosive environments, one coat of Kwikspar 600 or Kwikspar 600 SG can replace traditional two-coat epoxy/urethane systems.
