Chopper pump
Seepex has a new patented chopper pump. The inlet hopper is rectangular and an axially spaced set of rotary and stationary tungsten carbide knives chop, crush and feed the pumping elements. Rotating knives symmetrically arranged on the feed screw, in conjunction with stationary knives fixed to the compression-housing, chop and crush the feed. The BTM pumps are available for flows to 300 gpm at pressures to 720 psi.

Depth recorder
Unidata America has introduced its new Model 8007WDP Submersible Water Depth Recorder. This instrument provides a digitally corrected pressure transducer and programmable Unidata Micrologger integrated into a stainless steel housing. A Kevlar reinforced cable with integral vent tube provides support for the unit and automatic barometric pressure compensation. Internal lithium batteries allow continuous operation for up to five years. Memory holds up to 52,000 readings and the integrated data logger offers event and time interval recording, programmable measurement and recording intervals, and more.

Hypochlorite pump
Watson-Marlow Bredel's new 62OR series pump handles sodium hypochlorite applications with reduced maintenance downtime. Aeration and mixing system

Valve operator
The Pow-R-Drive portable hand-held valve operator from E.H. Wachs can turn valves from 4 to 60 in. and comes in hydraulic, electric or pneumatic powered models. The valve operator offers the performance needed for daily valve maintenance or to operate those stubborn, hard-to-turn valves. The Pow-R-Arm supports the operator, taking away the need to balance or lift during setup and operation. It mounts in any standard 2 in. hitch and the swing arm provides a full 180 degrees of swing and 18 in. of telescoping movement for lining up to the valve.

Continuous shackle locks
Engineering Unlimited has created a new and separate identity for its line of Sterling Locks. Now called Sterling Security Systems, the locks carry a new logo mark. They are designed with a continuous shackle that is rotated to open the lock. There are several keying preferences including keyed alike in which one key fits all, keyed differently and a master keyed version in which locks are keyed differently but with one master key that opens all locks. Sterling also offers its One-Shot, a single use permanent seal that must be destroyed to be removed.

Level meters
Solinst Model 101 Water Level Meters provide accurate readings traceable to national standards on a tape that is easy to repair and splice. The meter offers a new tape that is only 1/4 in. wide, small enough for use in applications as small as 3/8 in. diameter, with the same accuracy and qualities as the wider tape. Paperless recorder
The Datagraph VX series paperless recorder is available in a 5.6 in. active matrix TFT color display or a more economical bright blue monochrome display. The recorder includes a measurement rate of 200 samples per second for one channel making it ideal for recording process signals such as pressure that quickly change. Chemical feed pump
One of the benefits of the new Chem-Feed C-1100 Series chemical feed pump from Blue-White is its exclusive heavy-duty double ball valve cartridge head. The design of the head starts with bullet cartridge valves constructed of PVDF. Each valve has two ceramic ball checks and is double sealed with Viton® O-rings. Pressure sensor

Inline flowmeter
The new FlexMASSter® ST98L Inline Flowmeter features a thermal mass sensing element that delivers precision measurement over a wide flow range. For example, the unit measures gas flow from 0.0062 to 1850 SCFM to an accuracy of +/-1% of reading plus +/- 0.5% of full scale. It has a repeatability of +/- 0.5% of reading and a turndown ratio of 100:1. The sensing element has no moving parts and is comprised of two all-welded 316 stainless steel thermowells that protect resistance temperature detectors. The standard inline flow tube comes in a 1-inch diameter tube, or 1-, 1.5- or 2-inch schedule 40 pipe.

Level monitor
