WaterTAP features third-annual World Water-Tech Summit in Toronto

This week, more than 50 of the world's leading water experts will be in Toronto, Ontario, for the third annual World Water-Tech North America summit, being held October 6-8. The Water Technology Acceleration Project is the event's key partner in North America.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Oct. 5, 2015 -- This week, more than 50 of the world's leading water experts will be in Toronto, Ontario, for the third annual World Water-Tech North America summit, being held October 6-8. The Water Technology Acceleration Project (WaterTAP) is the event's key partner in North America.

This year's summit will focus on building smart, resilient cities through the development and adoption of advanced water technologies. The agenda will feature leading municipalities, technology providers, and active investors looking for game-changing solutions.

Experts from around the world will speak at the summit, including:

  • Cindy Wallis-Lage, President, Global Water Business, Black & Veatch
  • David Sedlak, Malozemoff Professor in Mineral Engineering, Co-Director of Berkeley Water Centre, Director of the Institute for Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE), and Author of Water 4.0
  • Helge Daebel, Investment Director, Emerald Technology Ventures
  • Mehul Patel, GWRS Programme Manager, Orange County Water District
  • Michael Dixon, General Manager, Smarter Cities, IBM

The summit also brings international water speakers to Toronto, with this year's faculty featuring:
