This year's IFAT ENTSORGA will mark the 40th anniversary since the symposium was first tied into the event series.
The focus will be extended with the 15th International Symposium, which will be organised between 13th and 16th September 2010, and the topic of energy will be added, together with the change of name.
The Symposium is organised by the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA), the European Water Association (EWA), the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and the Association of Municipal Waste and city cleaning in the Association of Local Utilities (VKS im VKU).
Several key areas will be addressed during the course of the symposium, including the EWA event: "EWA Symposium on the Sustainable Water Management - New Strategies, Technologies, Innovative Solutions". Within this, topics such as sewer rehabilitation, the rehabilitation and maintenance of drainage systems, the handling of stormwater, new technical challenges with the treatment of wastewater and the disposal of sewage sludge will be addressed. So what can delegates expect to hear from the seminars and workshops on offer?
