MACCLESFIELD, CHESHIRE, SEPT 18, 2018 -- Statiflo, whose static mixers, pipe and channel mixers are widely used in the water and wastewater treatment industry, has been endorsed for its high standard of quality management under an internationally-recognized scheme.
The company designs and distributes static pipe and channel mixers for applications including pH control, coagulation and flocculation. Its specially-designed non-ragging pipe and channel mixers are used primarily for wastewater treatment.
Its products are used in more than 80 countries. Statiflo, which is based in Cheshire and has subsidiaries in Germany and the United States, has been accredited under the ISO 9001 2015 scheme.
Nigel Harte, Statiflo's engineering and quality assurance manager, led the company's successful transition from ISO 9001 2008. Statiflo has been endorsed under the scheme since it first applied for the quality mark in 2003.
The accreditation reflects a company's commitment to product quality, customer focus and satisfaction. The latest 2015 version puts greater emphasis on leadership engagement, risk assessment and supply chain management.
Gareth Fry, managing director of Statiflo, said: "Nigel has done a tremendous job in leading the process and ensuring we have successfully made a seamless transition to ISO 9001 2015.
"It's a globally-recognized accreditation which reflects the quality of our products, processes and our team.
"Attaining this standard is an important milestone for the business, because it shows our commitment to maintaining the highest quality management systems, our determination to continuously improve and our unwavering focus on providing an excellent level of service to our domestic and international customers."
Statiflo was audited for the accreditation by Alcumus Isoqar, whose team looked at various aspects of the company's operations, including its facilities, leadership, training and customer service policy.
Statiflo exports to more than 80 countries and supplies the water and waste water treatment industries, oil and gas, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper sectors.
It has annual revenues of over £5m and employs 24 staff. The company has its headquarters in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and subsidiaries in the US and Germany.
