Feb. 11, 2002 -- Hayward Industrial Products, Inc., a global manufacturer of industrial and commercial valves, filtration and separation equipment with headquarters in Elizabeth, New Jersey, has acquired Webster Pumps, headquartered in Frankfort, KY.
Webster Pumps is a well-known manufacturer of horizontal centrifugal and vertical sealless immersible plastic pumps that are used in metal finishing, chemical processing and other corrosive applications. These pumps are marketed in North America through authorized Webster Pumps Distributors.
The Webster Pumps product line of corrosion resistant pumps will complement Hayward's existing offering of plastic, corrosion resistant valves and flow control products.
Robert Davis, President of Hayward Industrial Products, Inc., has stated that this acquisition "will put the resources of Hayward's global organization behind Webster Pumps and we will be providing Webster customers with higher levels of service and a broader line of products than was possible in the past."
