Dec. 11, 2013 -- The role of VP Services at The Asset Performance Group (APG) has been given to Frank Godin, who joined the company at the beginning of August, 2013.
Prior to joining APG, Godin spent the last 12 years at EMA, where he worked as a maintenance and asset management consultant, practice manager and director. He was involved in more than 40 projects at utilities in the U.S. and Canada, including the Toronto Water Asset Reliability Improvement (ARI) project, where he worked closely with APG's consulting team to develop an innovative optimization process and implementation tool.
Godin was also principal investigator for the Water Environment Research Foundation's (WERF's) strategic asset management project -- a research program funded, in part, by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As VP Services at APG, Godin will bring his experience with world-class organizations to clients outside the water and wastewater industry.
"My role as VP Services is to ensure we're delivering what we said we would, on time and on budget, while meeting the client's needs and providing real tangible value," said Godin. "My role is partly about advocating for our clients and supporting the project team's collaborative spirit, but it's also about building strong business structures within a rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial-spirited company."
