George Christofidis
Aug. 2, 2011 -- George Christofidis, the former CEO of APCO Valve & Primer Corporation, announced his retirement after 43 years of employment with the company.
Mr. Christofidis worked his way up the ranks to eventually becoming the president and then CEO of the privately held corporation. He oversaw the factory operation in Schaumburg, IL, which specializes in manufacturing APCO Air Valves, Check Valves, Ball and Cone Valves.
In April 2011, Valve & Primer Corporation was acquired by DeZURIK Inc.
