LONDON, UK, Sept. 30, 2008 -- Watermark Place, the largest area of open riverside office space in the City of London, will be the first commercial development in the City to benefit from both grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting.
Specialist water recycling and water treatment company Aquaco is supplying and installing a combined system consisting of pre-treatment and post-treatment storage tanks as part of the development's energy efficiency measures.
The fully automated multimedia grey water and rainwater filtration system includes feed and backwash pump sets with the control panel assembled as a skid mounted unit. This will provide harvested and recycled water for toilet flushing within the building via the basement sited 10,000 liter and 18,000 liter storage tanks.
The integrated mains water top up system is housed within a 'kiosk', which includes BMS monitoring and break (balance) tank booster pump facilities.
Aquaco specializes in the efficient management of water resources through rain and grey water recycling and water treatment systems.
