ST. LOUIS, MI, April 12, 2006 -- Powell Fabrication & Manufacturing Inc., a manufacturer of emergency valve closure systems in both industrial and municipal markets, has announced an agreement with Municipal Treatment Equipment Inc. (MTE), Golden, CO, where MTE will serve as a sales representative and product distributor for Powell in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming.
Duane Powell, president of Powell, and Tim Rice, president of MTE, announced the deal.
"We are pleased to be able to add Municipal Treatment Equipment to our growing sales force," Powell said. "This move represents our rapidly expanding marketplace."

Powell emergency valve closure systems are used with chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and other pressurized hazardous gases.
