KYLE, TX, Nov. 3, 2010 -- An apparent equipment malfunction at a lift station in Kyle, Texas, has resulted in the release of more than 100,000 gallons of untreated wastewater into a local creek.

The problem has reportedly been fixed, but environmental experts are monitoring the creek and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is helping investigate the spill.
