OLATHE, KS, June 28, 2007 -- Kerry Baskins has been promoted to the new position of Vice President/Business Unit Director for Grundfos Pumps in the U.S. headquartered in Olathe, Kansas. In his new position Kerry will oversee Grundfos U.S. industrial pump sales and marketing efforts. He will implement a new corporate business unit structure as well as strategies to maintain the industrial unit's record sales levels.

Dennis Wierzbicki, President and CEO of Grundfos in the U.S., said Kerry brings an extensive background in the U.S. Industrial market. "His experience not only with other pump manufacturers, but also time spent as a distributor will be a strength; additionally, as we bring new products to the U.S. pump market, Kerry's background with not only centrifugals, but positive displacement products, will assist us as we go after focused industrial sectors."

Previously, Kerry was OEM Sales Manager for Grundfos in North America.

Kerry has been in the pump industry for 17 years in various management roles including Vice President of Sales; General Manager; and Senior Sales & Marketing Manager. A Six Sigma Black Belt, Kerry is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and holds degrees from Keller Graduate School of Management (MBA) and Villanova University (Masters in Six Sigma).
