TORONTO,MAY 2, 2017 -- XCG Consulting Ltd. (XCG) announced today that it has sold the XCG Water Group, as well as the XCG Training and Operations unit, to Cole Engineering Group Ltd., anOntario-based engineering and consulting company. The sale allows XCG to concentrate on growth in its core business areas as well as provide opportunity to more aggressively pursue geographic and capacity expansion through potential acquisitions.

XCG's Water Group is a diversified technical consulting and engineering group located inOakville, Ontario, that offers specialized municipal infrastructure, wastewater and water resources services to clients acrossCanada. XCG's Training and Operations business, also located inOakville, Ontario, provides expert training for municipal operators in water and wastewater facilities. The transaction closed onMay 1, 2017.
