Germany’s oldest city employs centrifuge for excess sludge thickening
The sewage treatment plant in Trier (Germany) is a purely municipal sewage treatment plant with anaerobic sludge stabilization. A Flottweg centrifuge is used for excess sludge thickening at the plant, allowing the plant to extend the time spent in the digesters.
