WHEATON, IL, Sept. 23, 2009 -- RJN Group Inc.'s CASS WORKS® software received NASSCO's v4.4 Certification in Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP), Manhole Assessment and Certification Program (MACP) and Lateral Assessment and Certification Program (LACP). NASSCO's Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) provide a standardization and consistency in evaluating sewer pipe condition and TV inspection results. PACP is a comprehensive and consistent set of TV inspection codes that describes sewer pipe conditions used in prioritization, planning, and renovation of wastewater collection systems. Complementing PACP, the MACP provides standardization for grading of defects within manholes and LACP for recording defects in sewer laterals.

The National Association of Sewer Service Companies, (NASSCO), is an organization which is comprised of contractors, suppliers, engineers, public agencies, and others aligned to the trenchless technology field. Members are required to comprehend the quality and safety issues dealing with rehabilitated pipelines and are active in developing guidelines and specifications that become industry standards. As a member of NAASCO, RJN makes a commitment to set industry standards for the rehabilitation of underground utilities while assuring the continued growth of trenchless technologies.
