DUNCAN, OK -- The National Rural Water Association has welcomed the agency’s fourth CEO, Matthew Holmes.
“I still remember my first day working for NMRWA, when I went into the field with Circuit Rider Lupe Aragon and Wastewater Technician Leon Romero,” Holmes said in the official announcement. “On that day, they told me what the organization was all about, and I have never forgotten their words. I have tremendous respect for the essential work being done by State Associations all around our nation. Rural Water is special, totally unique and full of potential for the future. It is a privilege to be a leader of an organization as great as Rural Water, and I promise I will never take take this fact for granted.”
NRWA is looking forward to the future as Holmes steps into the CEO position.
In a statement announcing the appointment, NRWA said, “His years of experience and passion for the water and wastewater industry are invaluable qualities he brings to this association.”
