ATLANTA, March 26, 2001 — The Jacksonville Electric Authority has contracted with iMedeon for a mobile workforce management application suite.
iMedeon, a provider of wireless Web applications for mobile workforce management, has deployed the iM:Work suite for JEA, one of the largest municipal utilities in the nation, supplying electricity, water, and sewerage services for more 600 thousand customers in the Jacksonville, FL area.

JEA's electric system currently serves more than 335,000 customers around Jacksonville, FL. JEA's water system serves 170,000 water customers and 127,000 sewer customers, or about 83 percent of the total water and sewer utility customers in Duval County.
JEA owns and operates an existing electric system (the Electric System) with three power plants and all transmission and distribution facilities.
