Dec. 2, 2014 -- Siemens, a global specialist in electronics and electrical engineering, has officially been awarded reaccreditation status by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that time.

In order to achieve Authorized Provider accreditation, Siemens completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor. They successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2013 Standard, addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs.

Siemens has pledged its continued compliance with the Standard and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Authorized Provider logo on promotional course material. In addition, Siemens is now linked to the IACET website and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.

Siemens aims to close the skills gap in America and achieve a sustainable future workforce by providing opportunities in the area of continuing education. The courses it offers will give individuals the chance to learn the skills needed for new jobs arising due to the software revolution within manufacturing. The programs offered will strengthen the workforce in skills and understanding as the industry moves toward digitalization.

Siemens offers a full listing of product and software learning opportunities in the following formats: classroom, customized classroom courses, virtual instructor led, web-based, video how-tos, virtual mentoring, and full competency management consulting.
