ANKENY, IA, Dec. 2, 2010 -- The Association of Boards of Certification (ABC), an international association serving environmental certification authorities, is requesting respondents for its 2010 Job Task Analysis (JTA) surveys. ABC is requesting assistance from stakeholders, including operators, engineers, regulators, utility managers, certification board members, municipal managers, and retired personnel who may be willing to complete the survey. The survey will remain open through December 23, 2010.
In order to remain current with the field of the water and wastewater industry, ABC must conduct regular updates and review of the JTAs which serve as a foundation for ABC certification examinations.
It is important that respondents to this survey represent the field as a whole, comprised of individuals representing the variety of professional and demographic backgrounds that ABC certificants and exam takers may have.
The results of the surveys will be used to develop standardized exams for the areas of Water Treatment, Distribution, Wastewater Treatment and Collection. Each survey will remain open until December 23, 2010. You do not have to complete the survey in one sitting. To participate, click the appropriate link below:

ABC will award two (2) hours of continuing education (CE) credit to each individual who completes a survey. In addition to ABC, ABC member programs may accept the CE credit issued for completion of the surveys pending approval of their respective Boards. Those interested in receiving CE credit should provide contact information at the beginning of the survey.
Individual responses provided on the survey will only be seen by those involved in processing the survey. To complete the survey, internet access is required. For more information, contact ABC (515) 232-3623.
