TULSA, OK. Aug. 16, 2005 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- Efficiency Technologies Inc. (EffTec), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Resource Management Inc., has entered into a sales associate agreement with International Chemstar Inc. Chemstar will offer EffTec's EffHVAC™ efficiency and trending tool for customers in the Baltimore area and nationally. It's a powerful easy to use Internet-based chiller, boiler and plate exchanger efficiency and trending tool that affords facilities the ability to document, monitor, evaluate and manage chiller system performance.

Chemstar provides water treatment products and services regionally and internationally with a core business of boiler, cooling, fuel treatments and service. Its customer base includes government power plants, cogen plants, military bases, universities, hospitals, food, paper and chemical industries. The company's products are proven formulas containing the same high quality ingredients used by the top competitors and are produced at three locations across the United States to meet the needs of a growing customer base. The technical staff has expertise in all phases of water treatment including potable, industrial and wastewater. It consists of seasoned professionals who average over 20 years of experience in water treatment.

"The EffHVAC service is a perfect tool to help water treatment experts working in the field to showcase their expertise and contribute a return on investment while enjoying greater customer satisfaction. We are pleased to work with CHEMSTAR to support best practices in the facilities," stated Don Clark, Vice-President of EffTec.

Efficiency Technologies Inc. has developed a web-based energy management service for centrifugal chillers, boilers and plate exchangers called EffHVAC. The Department of Energy has estimated that chillers waste up to 30% of their cooling energy through inefficiency. It is also estimated that there are over 100,000 centrifugal chillers in the United States. Chiller inefficiencies cost the industry, government and institutional operators over one billion dollars annually. EffTec's web-based service provides a diagnostic tool that enables facility managers the ability to evaluate, monitor and manage their HVAC plant's performance. Efficient monitoring and management can save tens of thousands of dollars per year in energy and maintenance costs.
