PENNINGTON, N.J., Nov. 18, 2003 -- WorldWater Corp. announced that Carsten Bethge has been named Vice President for International and Domestic Sales.
Bethge's responsibilities include directing all sales activities for WorldWater internationally, including Asia and Africa, as well as the U.S. market. He will make his headquarters in California to further develop WorldWater's solar water pumping and solar energy systems business there.
His responsibilities also include strategic planning, sales budgeting and forecasting and creating and implementing a long-term domestic and international sales plan.
Bethge previously was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Beckaert ECD Solar Systems and Senior Director, Worldwide Sales for Siemens Solar Industries. He held other senior sales management positions at Siemens Energy & Automation, and earlier was an executive with AEG Corp., ABB Inc., Kearney-National, Gould, Inc. and Allis Chalmers.
