SANTA ANA, Calif., April 8, 2003 -- National Water & Power (NW&P) announced that its Electronic Data Exchange Plus (EDE+) offering will support six new property management platforms, making the program virtually universal for any software a property manager may be using to manage resident and property data.
A program that NW&P has successfully implemented on behalf of customers for the past five years, EDE+ provides customers with the ability to seamlessly integrate the property management software they are already using with NW&P's utility billing systems.
The result is a more efficient process for managing vital resident data in a reliable, timely, and secure manner. The coordination between billing and property management systems ensures data integrity and allows property managers to focus more time and energy on leasing and property management responsibilities.
EDE+ currently supports the following property management software platforms: AMSI, eSite, MRI, RentRoll, Yardi Enterprise and Yardi Voyager. NW&P's newly implemented file standard, coupled with the custom reporting capability of each property management software platform, will also allow EDE+ to support Jenark, Living Nexus, Real Page OneSite, Realeum, Rheo and Timberline.
Coordination between property management software and NW&P's billing service offers managers and owners a number of benefits, including:
* The ability to track and monitor the billing of residents.
* Improved data integrity and reporting.
* Streamlined data entry.
* The ability to update and correct resident information across multiple applications.
* Accurate and timely utility billing with comprehensive utility management, including vacant unit management.
Currently, the EDE+ service is supporting and monitoring the management of more than 237,000 apartment units.
