Fitch publishes reports on Austin utilities

Fitch's Global Power group has published new issue reports on Austin Combined Utility System and Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA).

NEW YORK, Jan. 25, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE)—Fitch's Global Power group has published new issue reports on Austin Combined Utility System and Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA).

Austin Combined Utility System consists of Austin Energy (AE) and Austin Water and Wastewater System, 76% and 24% of gross revenues, respectively. Under a new master ordinance, AE is issuing bonds secured solely by electric revenues.

TMPA is a joint action agency that provides wholesale power to four member cities in the Texas area with a combined customer base of approximately 140,000 retail customers.
