IEM offers technical specifications for power quality issues

Industrial Electric Mfg. has released technical specifications on power quality issues, including power factor correction, harmonic mitigation, and surge suppression.

FREMONT, Calif., September 24, 2001 — Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM), a manufacturer of power quality solutions, has released detailed technical specifications on power quality issues, including power factor correction, harmonic mitigation, and surge suppression.

Designed to support consultants, designers, plant engineers and utility personnel, the specifications cover low voltage and medium voltage along with metal-enclosed products. The specifications also provide information about selecting and sizing individual equipment and total system solutions. At the same time, IEM has introduced a new series of descriptive literature for 240-600vac capacitors and harmonic filters, 2.4-34.5kv capacitors and filters, integrated systems, and mobile capacitors to 242kv.
