ALPHARETTA, GA, May 22, 2008 -- ista North America and software publisher Good Steward Software have announced the purchase of EnergyCAP by ista North America. Good Steward Software's best-selling EnergyCAP energy efficiency software will replace ista's former software, Utility Manager™.
ista revolutionized utility expense management (UEM™) when they introduced the concept to the multifamily industry in 2001. Since then, UEM has become a standard component of multifamily operations. Kernie Brashier, executive vice president of ista's submetering group, says, "EnergyCAP provides greater functionality to our UEM customers while allowing us to increase service delivery and control costs -- this is as great for us as it is for our customers, and that's the kind of deal we like."
