MILWAUKEE, WI, Aug. 24, 2004 -- Terasen Utility Services has acquired United Metering Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of United Water Resources. With 15 years in the utility services business and over 100 employees, United Metering provides a complete range of metering services to the water utility industry.
With the acquisition, Terasen Utility Services expands its portfolio of water meter services to include large meter installation, replacement and refurbishment. Additionally, the acquisition extends Terasen Utility Services' geographic presence to 15 states and Washington D.C.
