BILBAO, Spain - H2O Innovation has opened a European office in Bilbao, Spain, as part of its aim to expand internationally.
The company hopes to reach the European and Middle Eastern markets with its couplings and speciality chemicals from the presence in Spain.
Ties Venema, who joined H2O Innovation last December along with David Jiménez, will be leading the company’s European presence.
In a press release the company said: “This new presence comes in response to proven demand for H2O Innovation’s specialty products and services business line from market-leading desalination companies in Europe and the Middle East such as Acciona, Sadyt/Valoriza, Suez, Veolia/Sidem and Aqualia.”
Ties Venema, general manager in Europe, H2O Innovation, said:“Customer loyalty, mainly from Spanish engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies and the general demand from the Middle East, has fuelled continued growth, making the local facility not only a necessity, but also a logical and promising decision. We should have more exciting news to announce soon! I fully expect new European office to become a strategic platform throughout the European and Middle Eastern markets in the years to come.”
