NanoH2O appoints new chief operating officer

NanoH2O, Inc. announced that global operations veteran, Doug Barnes, has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer.

EL SEGUNDO, CA., Nov. 5, 2012 -- NanoH2O, Inc., manufacturer of the most efficient and cost effective reverse osmosis membranes for seawater desalination, today announced that global operations veteran, Doug Barnes, has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer.

"As we focus on further developing best-in-class RO membrane technology, it is critical that we build the necessary infrastructure to support our expansion efforts," said Jeff Green, CEO of NanoH2O. "Doug brings extensive experience in translating manufacturing operations and commercial activity into business results. Prior to joining NanoH2O, Mr. Barnes spent 25 years in high volume manufacturing with Planar, a leader in digital display technology. He served in various positions including Vice President of Global Operations and as General Manager, during which he was responsible for establishing commercial and manufacturing operations in Europe and Asia.
