A training partner agreement between Hydraulic Institute and Hydro Inc., will provide industry professionals with advanced pump services.

PARSIPPANY, NJ, Nov. 11, 2013 -- A new partnership has been established between the Hydraulic Institute (HI) and Hydro Inc., a company specializing in pump mechanical upgrades, material advancement and performance testing, to provide industry professionals with advanced pump services.

Both companies entered a training partner agreement that allows them to leverage high quality, co-branded educational and training programs designed for pump end-users, distributors and engineering consulting firms. Through this agreement, both companies will sponsor technical webinars and e-learning courses focused on a variety of pump topics and host the growing Pump Systems Optimization courses to the broad pump end-user marketplace.

As part of this new partnership, Hydro recently hosted the one-day Pump Systems Optimization course in Fort Saskatchewan, AB Canada, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at its Scotford facility. This one-day course has been taught to over 800 people resulting in significant dollars saved in not only energy costs but in reduced maintenance and down time as well. In addition to end users, engineering consulting firms also take the course to gain knowledge and credibility and to network with end users to increase their business.
